The Maturity Team
oversees the congregation's Christian Education program. Classes
for adults, young people and children meet on Sundays as well
as throughout the week. Click on the links below to explore

Christian
Life and Service Seminars (C.L.A.S.S.)
C.L.A.S.S. 201 is designed to deepen our relationship with God by
strengthening the habits that can help us grow in our Christian
faith.
Adult
Education Sunday Classes
A variety of Bible studies and other classes, open to everyone,
is offered at 9:45 and 11:00 am each Sunday. Classes are taught
by the pastors as well as by lay leaders and are held each Sunday
of the year except for August and some holidays.

Weekly
Classes 
A variety of topics and Bible studies are offered throughout the
year. Morning classes as well as evening classes are offered and
are open to non-members as well as members.

Prayer
Pause
Monday through Friday email devotional written by St. Timothys
pastors and lay people to facilitate a daily prayer life. Sign up

MEN
Growing
Christian Fathers

This ministry is aimed at helping men grow as fathers and individuals.
The vision for the group is a vibrant men's ministry, focused
on fathers with children pre-school through 12 years of age,
designed to help encourage men to pursue God, to help equip
each other for discipleship and spiritual service in the home,
workplace, community, and the world.
Growing Christian Fathers will
normally gather on the last Thursday evening of each month.
7:00-8:30 pm, in the Carter Fireside Room. Check the calendar,
since the date may change due to holidays and other events.
Gatherings will alternate between meetings for growth/development
and activities (with or without kids) such as camping, visits
to San Jose Family Shelter, and so on.
Men's
Bible Study
A Bible study group for men which meets on Tuesday mornings at 6:30
am, at Flames Restaurant (Ross & Hillsdale). Individuals
may join at any time.
Iron
Men
Mens group open to all men of the church. Meets once a month
for either food and discussion of a topic important to Christian
men, or a service project. Meets on the 3rd Tuesday of the month
at 6:30 pm.
WOMEN
General
(Circles, Sisters, etc.)

Women's
Bible Study
A number of Bible study groups are offered for women. These groups
meet once a month for Bible study and discussion. All women are
welcome to attend. See the Circle listing in the Womens Ministry
Yearbook for details of chairwomen and meeting times and places,
or call the church office for information.
Zest
for Life
The Zest group of women meets Tuesday mornings (except the 2nd Tuesday
of the month) at 9:45 in the Music Room (next to the main office;
click here for map). The
women do either a book or Bible study of their choice, with members
sharing the discussion leader responsibilities.
Sunday
School for Children and Youth
Classes are offered for preschool through Senior High at 9:45 am.
Class locations are posted in the bulletin. The preschool through
fifth grade children learn Bible lessons. Jr. and Sr. High classes
offer a variety of topical lessons throughout the school year. Classes
are held each Sunday of the school year except for some holidays.
First
Communion Class 
This class is for fifth graders (and older students who are not
yet partaking of the sacrament) and focuses on the Sacrament of
Holy Communion and what it means to be a Lutheran Christian. First
communion is usually held on the first Sunday in November. Classes
begin in September, and continue for five consecutive weeks.
Confirmation

Confirmation prepares youth in 6th to 8th grades for adult membership
in the Lutheran Church. The focus is on study of the Old and New
Testaments along with Martin Luthers Small Catechism. Classes
meet Wednesdays at 6:15 pm September through April.
St
Timothy's Lutheran School 
St. Timothy's
Lutheran School serves children in preschool through 5th grade.
The school is dedicated to nurturing, educating, and developing
children in a Christ-centered environment to better understand and
appreciate the world around us. Class sizes are small, ensuring
strong and consistent student-teacher interaction. A rigorous academic
curriculum, supported by strong Christian foundations, prepares
the children for success and leadership in advanced grades at both
public and private middle and high schools. St. Timothy's has full
accreditation with WASC (Western Association of Schools and Colleges).
