The Lord God said, “It is not good for the man to be alone. I will make a helper suitable for him. Genesis 2:18

Lately I’m hearing from my Christian sisters and brothers about the joy they are experiencing as we emerge from pandemic SIP rules and gather again at live worship on Sundays; also returning to common church social events. Indeed even some of my introverted friends have noticed something missing during this difficult season, fellowship!

We recently enjoyed a small BBQ social at St Tim’s for volunteers after a long hiatus of these types of gatherings. After figuring out how to eat with our masks on (kinda messy-good for limiting calories ) and enjoying Gabe’s short PA address thanking us for roles, I felt a warm calming sense like our own little Pentecost was underway. Our Cornerstone Jr HS group is meeting again in person and AnnaMarie and all of us are really feeling Gods presence in our gatherings. My relationship with all of you reading this is so central to my faith and I really feel the Holy Spirit working during these fellowship times.

It’s true while alive on earth in our current state, we don’t see God, but at social gatherings and fellowship events, I see all of you made in God’s image and doing good where we can.

Looking forward to seeing you in worship or eating with your mask on at an upcoming social event.
