St. Timothy’s Lutheran Church is a community of faith, created by God in Christ Jesus, empowered by the Holy Spirit, called and sent to bear witness to God’s creative, saving and life giving activity in the world.
One of the gifts we have been given in Christ’s Church is the heritage that belongs to us as God’s people. St. Timothy’s is part of a family begun and given meaning by the life and work and command of Jesus Christ. What we teach and believe today about God and about faith and about life, what we understand today about who God is, and how God works, and where our life on this earth is going, is the same as the early followers taught and believed.
Our heritage was not the result of a plan that went haywire and had to be resolved. Our heritage was the plan of God from the beginning of time. His plan was to redeem the world in Christ Jesus.
Since 1962, God has been working in and through St. Timothy’s to draw people to Jesus. The people and campus have changed over the years but what hasn’t changed is God’s redeeming love for us in his Son.
We are a member of the North American Lutheran Church (NALC). What we believe can be found here.
