Preschool Director ($65-$75k per year)

The position of Preschool Director is full-time. This position is accountable to the pastor for reporting and review. The responsibilities and compensation will be reviewed annually. The Preschool Director is the overseer of the ministry of St. Timothy’s Christian Preschool and will coordinate with the pastor and Leadership Team to determine the direction of the Preschool.


  • In coordination with the pastor and Leadership Team, vision for and provide guidance for all matters pertaining to the Preschool
  • Oversee all Preschool staff, including hiring, salary increases, professional development, conflict management, etc.
  • Coordinate annual preschool budget proposal with Financial Administrator and Treasurer
  • Work within budget for all matters pertaining to the Preschool, to the best of your ability
  • Maintain Preschool campus and ensure that facilities are appropriate to the vitality and growth of the Preschool
  • Maintain healthy, professional relationships with Preschool families
  • Communicate progress and Preschool matters to the Leadership Team on a regular (at least quarterly), basis
  • Communicate progress and Preschool updates to the congregation regularly to ensure support for the Preschool via newsletter articles (monthly), Sunday morning announcements, and annual congregational meetings
  • Coordinate with Director of Children and Family Ministry to ensure a bridge between the Preschool and Children’s Ministries
  • Attend weekly staff meetings

Preschool Teacher ($22-$25 per hour)

Teach 3 year olds in a Christian preschool


  • While you are entrusted with specific responsibilities related to this position, You are also called to care for the whole school and see your work as integral to the effectiveness of our team.

  • Eagerly collaborate with other staff members to grow as professionals as well as provide the best possible educational experience for each student.
  • Commit to enhance the mission and vision of St. Timothy’s Christian Preschool and share in the advancement of the mission and vision of St. Timothy’s.
Classroom and School:
  • Maintain a class climate that is warm and accepting, while reinforcing school rules with love and understanding.
  • Provide care, guidance and developmentally-appropriate experiences following school guidelines, and provide educational materials that meet the unique needs of each student.
